The second row prices one unit of a flow whose total was never posted. This is a receipt filed in place of a shipment — a numerator handed over while the denominator stays in customs. Between the trigger and any answer there is a gap that nothing downstream is pricing, and everyone down there keeps working against it: verifiers, brokers, inspectors, allocation staff, all of them building on an assumption still in transit. On the other side of the ledger: the compliance analyst whose queue grew by one seizure and shrank by zero flow figures; the customs inspector handed a manifest with the destination cell left open; the validation engineer sizing batches against a ceiling that was never posted as a ceiling; the underwriter pricing a promise whose claims history is a blank row. None of them appear in a press release. All of them are already working against a number that has not arrived.

Ledger close. Settled: one price, one single-unit value, one ordinal. Unsettled: three counts, two registers, two impact cells, one total flow, one input cost, one resolution schedule. Hidden repayment date: the depositor's — a payout calendar not yet published is still a payout calendar, and interest runs from publication, not from payment.
